4 ways you can fill your pipeline and never run out of people to talk to about your products and or opportunity
Pipeline is Network Marketing 101.
Without a full pipeline, you don’t and won’t have a business. Our business is a people business, therefore, we have to have “people” to talk to, but where do we find these people?
Well my friend, it’s easier than you may think.
I’ll let you in on a secret, if you don’t have people to follow up with today, yesterday, or even last week, it’s because your pipeline was empty last week, the week before and the week before that, so you are not planting seeds.
You are not exposing people to your tools, walking them through your process, or using the ATM method. (For more training on that, see Episode #6 Don’t be a Fool, use a Tool)
Social media is an amazing tool to help us build our network marketing businesses, however, we can’t just post and pray.
It doesn’t matter how great our content is that we post, that will never fill your pipeline.
Posting content gets people familiar with you. They can get the know, like and trust factor, but posting will not fill your pipeline.
To fill your pipeline, you have to be strategic and purposeful with your activities.
Throughout my 26 years in this amazing industry, I have helped thousands and thousands of people around the world build their network marketing businesses.
However, there was always a common denominator with the people who weren’t experiencing the kind of success they were hoping for.
That was, their pipeline was empty.
We have all come across the “anti-mlmers” who say network marketing doesn’t work. It doesn’t work, if you’re not talking and exposing new people to your products and or opportunity.
It isn’t any different than a realtor.
If a realtor doesn’t reach out to people to see if they want to sell their home now or in the future. If a realtor doesn’t reach out and build relationships so people will come to them when they want to buy or sell a home, the realtors pipeline will be empty and that realtor will not be listing any properties nor will they be selling any properties.
Are people ever “Anti-Realtors”, no, because it is understood that a realtor has to keep their pipeline full in order to have success.
Network marketing isn’t any different my friend.
The great advantage we have as network marketers versus a realtor, is we have the opportunity to build a residual income. Realtors sell a home. Earn a commission and start again.
So, how do we keep your pipeline full so you never run out of people to talk to?
Before I get into the 4 ways to make sure your pipeline is always full, I wanted to tell you about the free gift I have waiting for you over on spspcommunity.com - it’s the ultimate home business guide with the 7 insider tips that will help you build the successful Network Marketing business you really want to have. Go grab it…not right this second, but after this episode LOL - pop over to www.spspcommunity.com
- How many Facebook friends do you have? How many Instagram friends do you have? How about LinkedIn? How many have your reached out to? - Yes, you can message your social media friends. That is not spamming. That is not cold messaging. Why would you be Facebook friends with anyone, if you can’t message them.
Now, when you message them, you don’t just tell them about your product and opportunity and give them your order link.
That doesn’t make any sense.
Be a human. Have a human, natural conversation. Your message to them can be “Hey Abigale, we haven’t chatted in quite sometime. I just saw your recent post and I wanted to reach out and say hi. What are you up to these days?”
You only have to go back and forth 2-3 times before asking them if they’d be open to taking a look at you’re doing. Don’t drag it out, but don’t hit them over the head with the first message either and use your tools. Don’t get into details. ATM them - Add, Tag and Message them with a member of your support team.
2. Join groups where your ideal customer is hanging out. When someone posts in the group and asks a question, be helpful and offer advice. Comment on other peoples posts within the group. This is a great way to meet new people you wouldn’t have ordinarily met.
Note: this is why your posting is important, because the people from these groups who don’t know you, will go to your page and snoop around. If you have good, valuable content, they will be more inclined to want to hear about what do, what you have and how you can help them.
3. Referrals. Always ask fro referrals from your existing customers, but also from anyone you have spoken to, who isn’t interested yet. Everyone knows someone.
4. You can also use the cold market messaging technique that I went through in detail in Episode #13 “How to build your network marketing business using Cold Market messaging?” I give the exact scripts to use. How to use them and who to use them with?
- Take full advantage of the friends you already have on social media.
- Join Facebook groups where you Ideal Customer is already hanging out and provide value
- Always ask for referrals
- Learn how to use cold marketing messaging
